Yes, I know…I'm sure you all thought that I would just continue tweaking this new record forever, ala Don Fagen/Walter Becker style.
Honestly, it wasn't even my fault (secretly I blame everybody else).
Kidding.
It is done and I think it sounds pretty good.
So I am now taking orders for my current release Night. Please visit the ordering page and place those orders, and again, as soon as they are in I'm shipping them out to you.
Estimated arrival = September.
In other news, I am excited about the formation of a new group I am debuting opening up for Richard Buckner at Gabe's on August 28th. This group consists of my old Outfit bassist, now on guitar, Eric Straumanis, bassist Atom Robinson, and Matt Winegardner. They are a great bunch of guys and I am excited about playing with them. Keep posted here for scheduling news of various kinds; in particular, in early October I am looking to book the CD release party of Night.
Oh yeah, for those of you who are anticipating the sheer nausea and vulgar display of flag waving frenzy and subsequent propaganda bombardment on TV for 9-11, may I suggest you attend my show at the Raccoon River Brew Pub in Des Moines instead that night. I plan to start the night off with the Clash's "I'm So Bored With the USA". Go team!
On Friday the 13th (yes, I know) at the Sanctuary I will be apologizing for my behavior.
